At the end of September, a thick morning fog was waiting for us when we arrived in the town of Misery. The Fromagerie Grégoire Kern stands majestically at the entrance of this charming village of Fribourg.
Grégoire Kern was happy to show us around his facilities and to tell us his story, a good moment of exchange. The surrounding cheese dairies have all closed, but the cows have continued to produce milk – Grégoire and his team have therefore recovered the milk from the producers and handle 4.2 million liters of milk each year. They produce 360 tons of Gruyère PDO and 13.5 tons of Vacherin PDO. In addition, a nice selection of house specialties was waiting for us to taste! Each flavored Tomme was so delicious, we had to select 3 varieties for our Boxes.!
We can’t wait for you to discover our selection!
