The Sulphur Hot Springs in Aargau
The canton of Aargau has many thermal springs, several of which are rich in sulfur. Bad Schinznach has one of the most important sulfur springs in Switzerland. Spa Zurzach, Eden Solebad & Spa, and Wellness World Sole Uno have saltwater springs that soak into the Dead Sea.
Sulfur is a natural mineral found near volcanic craters and hot springs. It is also in our bodies, concentrated in keratin, which gives us strong skin, hair, and nails. We need sulfur to produce collagen in our bodies, which makes our skin elastic and gives it a healthy, beautiful appearance.

Not surprisingly, the health benefits of hot sulfur baths are numerous – soothes skin problems, increases blood circulation, relieves pain, reduces stress. The sulfuric vapors from the hot springs can even relieve asthma, sinus problems, allergies, and other respiratory problems.
If you’re visiting Aargau, soaking in their sulfur hot springs may provide more health benefits than you thought.
